Purpose: This workshop will guide municipal staff members through the key steps in asset management planning.
Target Audience: Municipal staff: CAO’s, engineering, finance, managers & supervisors of public works, GIS technicians and others involved in planning for municipal operations and maintenance.
A supplemental resources guide “Getting Started with Asset Management Planning” will be provided to participants of this workshop. The guide will be available in both English and French.

Facilitators: 

Daisy Foster, Managing Director, AIM Network: Daisy is the Managing Director of AIM Network. Daisy has been actively involved in asset management planning, awareness and advocacy since 2006 through her work in local government, as former CEO of the BC Water and Waste Association, as a member of Asset Management BC and her current work in Atlantic Canada as Managing Director with AIM Network.
Tjaart Van den Berg, Principal, Landinfo Technologies. Tjaart has a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning with more than 25 years experience in helping municipalities plan their services. Tjaart is an expert in developing and applying GIS technologies to support municipal infrastructure and services and designing solutions to help smaller municipalities with their asset management planning needs.
